Wanda J Kurrle, 75, of Burlington died Nov. 13, 2021, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center.
Born April 25, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo., she was the daughter of Earl B. and Pearl Walker Rice. She married John Allen Kurrle, Sr. in Sept. 1991. He died in Aug. 1992.
Wanda was a beautician and worked in food service for over 35 years. She was of the Methodist faith.
Wanda is survived by two stepchildren, Allena Newkirk of Fort Madison and John “Charlie” Allen Kurrle, Jr. of Virginia; one sister, Betty June Mapes of LaHarpe, Ill.; and two step-grandchildren.
The graveside service for Wanda will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 at Durham Cemetery, Durham (Dallas City) Ill.
According to her wishes, cremation has been entrusted and accorded to Lunning Chapel.
