Donna Louise Krier,&nbsp;72, of Niota, Ill., passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

She was born on April 23, 1952, in Rapid City, South Dakota, the daughter of Lewis and R. Elnora Elliott Krier.&nbsp;

She is survived by her sisters: Irene Schuercamp of Nauvoo, Illionis and Barbara Brown of Nauvoo, Ill. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Betty Jeffers and companion: Dale Parren (he preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1022).

Donna enjoyed visiting with others as she was a people person.

Her body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz - Banks and Beals Funeral Home for cremation.&nbsp;

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
