Brent Wheeler, 62, of Perry, Ia., formerly of Burlington died Thursday, August 11, 2022, at home.

Born November 16, 1959, in Burlington, he was the son of Charles Wayne and Carol J. Purdum Wheeler.

He was a graduate of Burlington Community High School.&nbsp;

Brent was a man that loved his family. He respected and loved his mother, was a best friend to his sister, and was “the greatest uncle” ever according to his nieces.&nbsp; Referred to as "Be", his favorite activities included cards with his family, Marvel movies, and football. His family of 17 could each individually tell you their favorite activity and memory of time spent with Uncle Be.&nbsp;

Survivors include his mother, Carol J. Wheeler of Perry; brother, Jeff (Carol) Wheeler of Altoona; sister, Jackie McCord of Perry; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Wayne Wheeler, and brother, Lonny James Wheeler.

The funeral service for Mr. Wheeler will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Prugh's Chapel, 317 North 4th St. Burlington with Pastor JudyAnn Morse officiating.&nbsp; Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.&nbsp;
